About me
I am an allround creative thinker with experience in multi-disciplinary design and research projects for a wide variety of clients and backgrounds. As a designer I like to explore the experience of users, provide them with forward thinking solutions and design beautiful but functional results. Every situation is different – I believe that the power of design can deal with these cultural, contextual and individual challenges.
In my current senior position I am confident in creative processes, I steer teams in exploring design solutions and deliver results.
During my career I have developed strong communication skills. I am able to explain complex situations in a understandable way and like to build relationships upon this understanding. By being passionate about design I can engage the client and sell ideas.
In my role as designer I had the opportunity to work with renowned architects, interior designers, urban planners and type designers. In general I had the pleasure of always working in multi-disciplinary teams for clients from different industries, unraveling complex stakeholder structures.
I have worked with large international clients such as the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, Booking.com, Grupo Aeroportuario Del Pacífico and the Dubai Future Foundation, but also with local heroes such as Theater Carré, het Tropenmuseum, gemeente Amsterdam and ProRail/NS.
