I am a product designer who strongly believes in the beauty of everyday things and design as a means to improve daily life for everyone.
I am an allround creative thinker with experience in multi-disciplinary design projects for a wide variety of clients and backgrounds. I strongly believe in the beauty of everyday things and design as a mean to improve daily life for everyone.
As a product designer I like to explore the experience of users, provide them with forward thinking solutions and design beautiful but functional results. Products that involve playfulness, emotion and character, design that is accessible for everyone. Every situation is different – I believe that the power of design can deal with these cultural, contextual and individual challenges.
In my current role as Design Lead I am confident in creative processes and building concepts, I steer teams in exploring design solutions and deliver results. During my career I have developed strong communication skills. I am able to explain complex situations in a understandable way and like to build relationships upon this understanding. By being passionate about design I can engage teams and sell ideas.
In my role as designer I had the opportunity to work with renowned architects, product designers, interior designers, urban planners and type designers. In general I had the pleasure of always working in multi-disciplinary teams for clients from different industries.
I have worked with large international clients such as the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, Booking.com, Grupo Aeroportuario Del Pacífico and the Dubai Future Foundation, but also with local heroes such as Rijksmuseum, Theater Carré, het Tropenmuseum, gemeente Amsterdam and ProRail/NS.
